Molly McLaughlin-REALTOR® , ABR, GRI, CRS
Growing up in Lake Tahoe, I was convinced there wasn't another place in the world worth living in. My family, on the other hand, had decided to move to northern Idaho without consulting their teenage daughter. After a year of skiing fabulous snow, kayaking the Clark Fork Delta and swimming in beautiful Lake Pend Oreille, I was nearly convinced that this was a place I could call home. As any naive child would do, I left Sandpoint to pursue higher education and find the perfect place to call "home." I traveled near and far – climbing through the Andes and hiking through the South Pacific. My search continued while traveling and working in different U.S. cities as a recreational therapist. Then in May 1995 as I drove across the Long Bridge, I realized this was home. I began working with at-risk teenagers at a local boarding school and involving myself in community activities. Becoming a realtor seemed natural as I started a family and became more community oriented. My energy level, willingness to go the extra mile and commitment to people gives me an edge as a Realtor. I pursue continuing education and keep alert to the latest statistics and technology so that I can offer clients the best service.

Reid Treadaway-REALTOR®
After growing up and living in South Carolina most of my early life, I felt the need to see some of the rest of the world. So when I graduated from Clemson University with a degree in forest resources management, I moved west. I moved to Park City, Utah, Where I lived for five years, skiing and working in the tourism industry. While there I met my wife, Nancy, also a Realtor with the North Idaho Team. When we left Park City we spent a year in Sitka Alaska, where I was working for the US Forest Service as a Forester in the Tsongas National Forest. This was an exciting time, but we were longing for a place to settle down and start a family. We traveled all over the country looking for a place that had skiing that we loved, and also water as both Nancy and I grew up around the coast on the Atlantic Ocean. We had heard about Sandpoint from a friend in Park City who had been here in the summer to play golf. The information that we were getting though research made us want to check it out.We decided one day that we were going to come up and spend the winter to see what it was like.We packed up our car one day and drove up from Park City. The drive from Coeur d 'alene to Sandpoint was dreary. It was raining like mad. When we hit the long bridge coming over the Pend Orielle River the sun came out and we were stunned with the beauty. That was all it took.We were hooked.

The community took us in immediately. On the third or fourth night in town we were invited over for a pot luck dinner at someone's home. We are still close friends with the people that we were with that night. The beauty of the area brings people to Sandpoint, but it is the community that makes people want to make it home.

We bought our first home in Sandpoint in 1995. It was a log home in the Selle Valley just north of town which we later sold after totally remodeling and completing. From that point on we got involved with real estate investing. Our business partner and North Idaho Team member, Molly McLaughlin was our realtor at the time. Over the years real estate has been a great investment for us. I love helping people get into real estate investing and it is a great feeling to help someone find their dream home.

Nancy Dooley-REALTOR®
Growing up on Maryland's Chesapeake Bay, my backpacking father would take us to climb the highest mountains in the lower 48, as well as in Canada and even Africa. After graduating from college with a degree in journalism and a year abroad studying in France, I went to Park City, Utah, to ski and work at the resort. The beauty of the West coupled with the friendly people had a huge impact on me. I found myself never wanting to go back east. Then I met my husband and now my Realtor teammate Reid. While running our organic farming business eight months out of the year, we traveled to Alaska, Central America and around the country. After several years, we decided to find the perfect town and settle down, where we could boat, kayak, ski and hike from our back door. We wanted a town big enough to entertain and support us but small enough to give us a sense of community. Sandpoint, after much searching, was the only possible choice. More than a decade later, I am still thrilled to live in Sandpoint. I spent my first several years working at a boarding school north of town and at Schweitzer before turning my attention to real estate. Now I thoroughly enjoy working with families and individuals to find homes and investment properties in a place I love and have grown to know so well. We are also raising two boys who I hope will make their home here when they grow up. I plan on being here forever, working towards bettering my community and reaping the benefits of such a wonderful area.
